JTC bolsters ICS team in US and UK

Independent service provider JTC has made two senior appointments in the US and UK as it continues to bolster its global institutional client services (ICS) team.

Wouter Plantenga has been appointed as head of group client services within JTC’s ICS division.

Based in New York and Miami, Plantenga will lead JTC’s expansion in the ICS arena, working with the existing team and building upon the firm’s US strategy.

Plantenga has nearly 20 years’ experience in cross-border and transatlantic financial services with knowledge of the North American market.

Jonathan Jennings has been appointed as managing director of JTC UK and will be based in London.

In addition to taking on responsibility for generating new UK institutional business, Jennings will also provide leadership in ensuring high standards of service to existing and potential clients.

Prior to joining JTC, Jennings was group CEO of Dominion Fiduciary in Jersey and was also managing director of TMF’s Luxembourg business.

Both Plantenga and Jennings will sit on JTC’s ICS global board.

Tony Whitney, group head of ICS, said: “Both Wouter Plantenga and Jonathan Jennings will be key assets to JTC as we continue to build our presence and extend our footprint into major international markets.”

He added: “We are projecting strong future growth across our corporate, real estate and fund service business lines and the US and the UK are absolutely pivotal strategic markets for us in these areas.”

“The experience, expertise and leadership qualities Plantenga and Jennings possess are instrumental in strengthening our international reputation and helping to differentiate us on the global stage.”
